As Christians, we all go through different seasons in life, just like spring, summer, autumn, and winter. These seasons can be times of growth, change, or even challenges. And in the midst of it all, we must remember to praise the Lord for the path He has set before us.
Deuteronomy 8:1 reminds us to give thanks when we are satisfied and acknowledge the inheritance God has provided us. As we walk with God, there are moments when we don’t need to agonise over decisions or seek divine guidance through fasting and prayer. We already have the answers within us because of our connection with Him.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 reassures us that God has made everything beautiful in its time. He has planted eternity in our hearts, and though we may not fully understand His plan, we can trust in its perfection from beginning to end. God is doing something new, and we are called to perceive it. Thus, Spring, the season of rebirth and renewal, is a beautiful metaphor for the new chapters in our lives.
Spring, occurring between March and May, is when we witness the emergence of new life and growth in nature. Whether we have fallen or not. Remember the prodigal son returning to his father, acknowledging his wrongdoings, and experiencing a new beginning. Similarly, you may be on the cusp of entering a new season, and it’s time to embrace the freshness it brings into your life.
During this season, the Lord seeks to propel you into a new chapter of your life. Just as Peter was miraculously ushered out of prison by angels, God is ready to show you that He is the Lord over your life, orchestrating remarkable events that you cannot fathom. He has prepared a place for you that you may not even realise exists. When the Lord blesses you, it is indeed a mighty blessing.
As you embrace new beginnings and the blessings God has in store for you, remember that He is with you every step of the way. Just as the earth awakens from its winter slumber, you, too, can experience a revitalisation of your spirit and purpose. Trust in the Lord, for He is about to usher you into a place you never imagined, and His blessings will be mightier than you can fathom.
However, you are not just blessed for your sake but also to be a gatekeeper for your nation. Take the next seven days to pray fervently for your nation, interceding for the well-being of your people.
