Have you ever reached a point where you feel stuck and overwhelmed by the challenges you face? You wonder how you can move forward when it seems impossible. But the good news is that you serve a God of impossibilities who has the power to make all things possible.
When you face these moments of impossibility, distractions can easily get in your way and become detractions from the path you are meant to take. God sometimes instructs you to do something, but you may question God’s plan when things become difficult. However, you need to understand that obedience to God brings blessings. God often uses unlikely people and resources to accomplish His purpose, and His mercy extends to all people. All God requires of you is to trust and have faith in Him.
The story of the Zarephath widow is a perfect example of this. She was the most unlikely person to assist Elijah, but God chose her to provide for him. The widow only had a handful of flour and oil, barely enough to make a meal for herself and her son. But Elijah instructed her to make him some bread first and promised that her jar of flour and oil would not run dry until the day the Lord sent rain on the land. The widow obeyed and witnessed the miracle of the flour and oil multiplying every day.
Faith and obedience involve trusting that God has a purpose and plan for your life. You can look to the example of Abraham, who was asked to go to a place he did not know. When God gives you a specific instruction, you should not ask and negotiate but follow with trust and reliance on God’s providence and provision.
Divine guidance is essential in your life. Going as God says to go can be seen as seeking the best thing for your life. As Proverbs 14:12 states, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” Sometimes, the situations meant to trip you up can turn around and bless you when you trust God.
Fulfilling your life’s purpose is so important. You must trust and rely on God’s providence and provision when you follow His commands. If God speaks the first time and it works, you can trust that if He speaks the second time, it will also work. Sometimes, God sends you to a place where it appears like it’s about to die, but He sends you to restore life.
In conclusion, you must have faith and obedience, trust and reliance in God’s providence and provision, seek divine guidance, and fulfil your life’s purpose. When you do these things, you can overcome impossibilities and experience the blessings God has in store for you. Remember, you serve a God of impossibilities who can make everything possible.
